Often called indescribable, Pajama Men Shenoah Allen and Mark Chavez engage in some of the most unusual and hilarious comedy around. They are known for split-second character switches and weaving together multiple storylines at high speeds.
History
Over the past seven years, The PJs have been met with numerous comedy awards (Barry Award, melbourne; Time Out Award(s), Sydney; Double Act award, Edinburgh), critical acclaim, and uproarious audience response all over North America and the U.K. They are the first and only independent act represented by Chicago’s Second City and have been produced in such esteemed venues as Second City and Steppenwolf in Chicago, the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh, and The Samuel Becket Theatre in Dublin.
Television
The Pajama Men’s television projects include the untitled PJ project currently in development with Second City
Entertainment; and “One Square Mile of Earth,” a new animated series
created in collaboration with Jeff Drew and Jeff Drew Pictures; and the recently filmed pilot “The Cody Rivers Show,” directed by R.W. Goodwin (Executive Producer/Director, “The X-Files”)

The Pajama Men were a tremendous hit at the 2008 Edinburgh International Fringe Festival, grabbing attention from industry and critics alike (five stars, London Times). They played to sold-out houses and even added performances, cementing Versus Vs. Versus as one of 2008’s biggest crowd-pleasers.
Touring
In 2009, The Pajama Men will tour extensively, with stops at The Soho Theatre, London; The Revolutions festival in New Mexico: The Fortnight Festival in New Yrok: The Melbourne International Comedy Festival; Cracker Comedy Festival, Sydney; The New Zealand International Comedy Festival; The Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and many others.
